Various methods of extracting essential oil from various plants can be used, but among the unconventional methods is the use of the microcavitation process and substance separation by means of linear piezoelectric ultrasonic motors. The microcavitation provided by the ultrasound source provides additional advantages over conventional methods of extraction by distillation. The paper presents the numerical modeling of an axially symmetrical linear piezoelectric ultrasonic motor in a permanent harmonic regime using the finite element method.
