Rezumat

Transformatoarele electrice reprezintă unele dintre cele mai importante echipamente din tot lanțul de distribuție a energiei electrice. Funcționarea acestora cu valori optime ale parametrilor (electrici, termici și mecanici) asigură alimentarea continuă a consumatorilor, dar și o calitate corespunzătoare a energiei electrice furnizată acestora. Sarcinile electrice moderne pe care transformatoarele le alimentează sunt de multe ori neliniare și generează o serie de probleme de calitate a energiei în rețea, în special distorsionarea formei de undă a curentului ce parcurge înfășurările transformatorului. Sunt, astfel, generate solicitări suplimentare (electrice și termice) ale diferitelor componente ale transformatorului (proiectat inițial pentru a funcționa în regim pur sinusoidal) care pot determina o funcționare anormală (defectuoasă) a transformatorului, ducând în final la reducerea duratei sale de viață (estimată de producător pentru regim permanent sinusoidal). Pentru a preveni sau diminua efectele negative ale regimului deformant asupra transformatorului, se realizează o limitare (reducere) voită a încărcării lui maxime. Procedura este cunoscută sub denumirea de denominare sau declasare a transformatorului (engl. derating). Se urmărește astfel stabilirea unor factori de declasare (denominare) cât mai adecvați, rezultați din corelarea datelor nominale și constructive ale transformatorului cu parametrii de calitate a energiei, măsurați în secundarul acestuia (de regulă, aceștia sunt nivelul de distorsiune al curenților și spectrul lor armonic). Lucrarea de față analizează calitativ și  cantitativ aceste aspecte și propune o procedură de declasare pentru transformatoarele aflate în exploatare pe care o ilustrează pe un studiu de caz.
