Le sphincter urinaire artificiel (SUA) reste le gold standard dans l'incontinence urinaire modérée à sévère après chirurgie prostatique. En partant de l'expérience personnelle significative des auteurs dans le domaine, nous avons pour objectif de passer en revue les indications, les limites et les défis actuels associés à l'implantation d'un SUA. Nous présentons différentes approches chirurgicales et considérations pré- et postopératoires.
