Résumé

Les troubles de l'articulation du coude surviennent après un AVC ou d'autres affections neurologiques, après des traumatismes quotidiens ou sportifs, etc. La rééducation à l'aide de dispositifs techniques constitue une approche prometteuse pour aider ces personnes à retrouver une vie normale. Cette étude présente ActElMO, une orthèse de coude active, portable et à entraînement direct, et décrit les expériences menées sur des sujets sains. Imprimée en 3D et conçue de manière anatomique, l'orthèse est actionnée directement par un actionneur électrique. Le début de la flexion du coude peut être réglé manuellement, sans effort de l'utilisateur, ou via un signal électromyographique (EMG) du biceps brachial. Des expériences réalisées sur 10 sujets sains, à différentes vitesses de flexion, ont utilisé cette commande EMG marche/arrêt avec des seuils individuels. Les signaux EMG des muscles biceps brachial et triceps brachial, ainsi que l'angle du coude, ont été enregistrés et traités. Différentes méthodes de traitement du signal EMG ont été testées. Le moteur électrique choisi fournit une puissance suffisante pour des mouvements rapides de l'avant-bras avec l'orthèse. Le dispositif, y compris sa fixation au tronc, est ergonomique et pratique. Le signal EMG du muscle BIC est adapté à une commande marche/arrêt.
